Pastor Smith founded and established Faith Works Christian Center, a non-denominational and multicultural church located in McDonough, Georgia.
Pastor Ken, originally from Buffalo, was born into a ministry family, the second son in a family of preachers. Pastor Ken has taught and counseled for more than 20 years, which has enabled him to reach many people with humor, warmth, and transparency.
As a child, Ken found his place in the music industry. In later years, Pastor Ken traveled the globe as a sought-after bass player for many national and international groups, choirs, and gospel artists. He finally settled into a ministry as a Worship/Music Arts Pastor for more than 10 years, and faithfully served in this capacity until answering the call as Senior Pastor of NDCC, alongside his beautiful wife Tongela for over 29 years. Together they share 4 children, 2 son in-laws, 2 grandchildren plus 5 bonus grandchildren.
Pastor Ken is a teacher by design and a true lover of God's word – a man who is resolute in his faith, and of fervent prayer. His love for God and God's people is evident. A quintessential family man, he possesses the gentleness and strength of an authentic servant leader. He is a man who has a pastor's heart.

A former backup vocalist for The Godfather of Soul, James Brown, has opened doors to expand her talent for singing. Tongela recently reunited with the James Browns ensemble, creating the JB’s Musical albums with songs recorded and sold on iTunes, Amazon and Spotify. She also released a single called “The Way Out,” sold on iTunes and Amazon.
Tongela is an ordained/Licensee Pastor, Certified Life Coach and Civil Mediator. She’s earned multiple certificates and serves on a number of boards. Tongela simply wears multiple hats.
Smith, once a single mother struggling to discover her own identity, admits that she learned some of life’s most important lessons the hard way. But God stepped in and
turned her misery into her ministry.
Tongela combines her personal spiritual journey,
leadership wisdom, and depth of spiritual understanding to help expose and shatter the forces that hold human souls’ captive. Her purpose is fully wrapped in empowering
people of all walks of life to break free from the social, psychological, and physical limitations caused by toxic belief systems and the scars of life.

Sheriff's Office and serve as a contract worker for the office of sheriff as a Workforce Coordinator, developing programs to inmates who deserves second chances. She worked
with everyone from CEOs to inmates. Tongela's received numerous awards in throughout her years of service to her communities, such as Woman Clergy of the year, Family of the year award, Above and beyond Award, just to name a few.
The State of Georgia welcomes her groundbreaking programs focusing on developing women leaders.
Her most recent passion project is Woman2Woman (W2W) Community Network Inc. The organization is dedicated to the development of effective women leaders whether working in a corporate office, entrepreneurship or a homemaker. The goal is to support and empower women and create trail-
blazers in their respective fields. This program is designed to help develop and build self-esteem and confidence in young women who are ready to influence their communities.
